A few weeks ago I was asked if I wanted to try out a pair of shoes from the new Spring Range at Clarks. Who doesn’t love a brand new, shiny pair of shoes right?
For me, Clarks has always been the place to go when the children need new shoes, but in recent years, I’ve become more and more drawn to their styles for women. They even have an Orly Kiely section now! I’m pretty much sold on the fact that you can’t beat them in their price range, for comfort and durability, but now they put up a pretty good fight in the style stakes too.
Take these, my chosen pair of brogues, Hotel Image in Honey Leather. They are bang on trend, working the masculine vibe for women, but retain their femininity with the cutout detailing. They are incredibly comfortable too, and the low stacked heel means I can wear these all day long wherever I’m going.
I’ve long been a fan of simple pumps and easy wedges for the Spring, but wanted something a little different for this season. These more masculine styles are so popular now, and my local Clarks shop was full of them. I tried on many different styles, in lots of different colours, but felt myself drawn to these honey or yellow ones.
They retail for £70 and whilst that’s not particularly cheap, they are supremely comfortable and I can’t wait for some better weather so I can wear them outside.
I was slightly concerned on how to wear them, but a long chat with a very helpful sales assistant put my mind at rest. They are going to look great with my signature skinny jeans on the day to day school run, but I know I could also wear them with a spring dress. Teal is one of my favourite colours and this honey shade is going to work brilliantly with that. Plus they’re great to co-ordinate with a bit of animal print, my weakness!
If you like the look of these, do check out the new Spring Range from Clarks for something a little different this season.

I was gifted a voucher for my shoes, but all comments and opinions are genuine and my own.
